Newsletter

I'm glad that you are interested in my newsletter. I want to take this chance to thank the people who encouraged me to do this. Since starting my eBay business, so many friends have shown an interest in doing the same. I can't count the number of people, and the number of hours I have spent sharing my knowledge and experience with them. Each one would say, "Mike.. you've got to write this stuff down!"  Thanks for bugging me :-)

My style of writing will be conversational and light. I don't believe formality benefits either one of us.   I have certain newsletters that I love to read. When they arrive in Outlook, I'll often stop what I'm doing just to read them. Hopefully this newsletter will have you doing this too.

What makes a GREAT newsletter? 

Informational. When I read a newsletter, I want to learn something that I can immediately benefit from. My goal for each newsletter is to give you at least one gem that you can take with you and immediately put to use.

Honesty. If something works or doesn't work, I'll let you know. I'll share my successes and my failures, and I won't exaggerate either. I shoot straight from the hip. If I like or dislike something, you'll get the straight scoop from me. 

Concise and Accurate: Don't you hate when someone acts like an expert, but has no idea of what they are talking about! (Telephone support people are an often guilty example)  Or, to cover up their incompetence they attempt to use an endless stream of words in an effort to numb your brain into submission. I won't pretend to know everything or write like I expect that you do.

Interesting. It better hold my attention. If it reads like a Masters degree thesis, then "Hello Delete Key". I'll include humorous stories and emails that I have received (and invite you to share yours)
