Neat idea Mike. Does anyone say "neat" anymore? Okay, cool idea Mike. This looks like something I want to develop for the cash flow. Your thinking cap must be awful big. A "cool" thinking cap.

It is a great idea! I actually haven't done that yet, but have thought about it. Lately I'm going to rummages (before it gets too cold) and buy items - name brand kids clothes mainly and then re-sell on ebay. Craigslist.com I have found very helpful in buying bigger items for self for personal use. We've bought appliances, jetted tub, Suburban, bunk bed, and so on. All for far less you'd pay anywhere else! I will be listing bigger items ( high chair, etc. on there and see how it goes! ) Great site Mike, keep up the great work and suggestions!

Any tips?

I wanna try it out...

Sounds like a good idea, but as I live in the UK I wonder if the same things go on. I know we are very light on things like mail in coupon rebates which seem to work quite well in USA.

Keep up the good work

Mike,
Great info on eBay Live! I was in Chicago as well and was amazed how different it was from the eBay Live! event in Boston. I really enjoyed Boston much more.

I even did a little vendor review on my Internet marketing and eBay strategies blog. I ranked the best and worst new vendors. There was one that REALLY shined in my eyes. I was also pretty disappointed at some of the big vendors there last year. Amazing how things change from year to year.

All in all, I still think eBay is one of the best venues to make good money from home.

Keep up the good work here.

Hi Mike,

I decided not to go to eBay Live, and canceled my reservations about one week eariler, and after I watched the keynote address, I'm glad I did.

I too felt there was a sense of negativity towards eBay from the people that attended. After I finished watching the keynote address, I felt like eBay just wants to focus on the top sellers, and push the middle to small seller out the door. Whether that is the intention, who knows except eBay's top people.

I have had a bad feeling about eBay ever since (Meg Ryan?) stepped down last year. I'm really interested in getting into the eCommerce business now, but what platform to try and sell in I still don't know.
